HOMEWORK: CHAPTER 24 – DUE 2/28

Victor’s scientific knowledge led to several murders. What factors might have influenced how Victor’s knowledge was used? Could Victor’s experiments been used for good? Why or why not?

  1. The fact that Victor knew at an early age that he was destined for greatness caused him to use his intelligence to prove it. I'm not entirely sure that creating a giant could be used for good, but I believe Victor had good intentions. They just back fired on him on a much bigger level.

  3. Because of Victor trying to prove to every one that his intelligence was so great he created this creature but let alone it back fired and murdered his family members. maybe some of his inventions could of been used for good just not the creature inventions. because with creature sometimes you just cant have full 100% control which again led to the murders.

  5. Well the way I see it, Victor was gifted with a wise and knowledgeable abitlity. He was born with a knowledgeable mind in order to prove his greatness. By chance, Victor's experiments can be used for the best, however, it didn't really turn out as it expected to be. Why, is because Frankenstein stirred up horrific situations. Although, he tried his best to make the best of himself.

    @ D'jra: I agree that Victor does have good intentions and the fact that he was destined for greatness (:

  6. @ Lea & Brittney: I agree with both of you. His experiments weren't such a great idea after all.

  7. I think Victor's experiment was made because he was trying to prove to everyone that he's intellegent too. Even though his experiment killed some of his family memebers he still was trying to prove his intellegence .

    @ D'Jra : I Think you're right .

  8. I think Victor wanted to prove his intelligence by creating something out of the box. And that's exactly what he did, by creating the creature. I think that Victor had good intentions with his creature, but those intentions didn't go through. I don't think it happened because of the way he acted when he first saw his creature come to life.

    - Lea & D'Jra; I agree with the both of you (:

  9. ALL the murders, are all HIS fault* He created the monster, NOT NOBODY ELSE! It could've been a good thing, BUT it was him , who negleted the monster, SO HIS FAULT AGAIN!

    - I like agree with you MICA:)

  10. Well I think that Victor knew he had a passion for this type of things. He created a creature that no one has ever tried, and it didn't turn out so well. Maybe he assumed that creating the monster was good, but he didn't look at the big picture. He didn't see if there would be a downfall to all of this. He created the creature cause he was so inspired and so caught up in the sciences of life and death. Maybe his creation could of been used for good if he didn't run away when he saw Frankenstein or if he actually took care of his creation. Who really knows though?

    I surely agree with Mica...

  11. i really dont know what were his intentions so i cant say if he created it for good or bad. when he first created the creature he was a mad scientist, so i guess that says what it was all about. the creature wanted to be liked, but he did bad things. Victor regrets creating the creature because he lost all his loved ones.

  12. In my opinion, I think Victor created his experiments to prove his intelligece and his ability to be greater. I think Victor had good intentions with Frankensterin but, somehow it all went down hill. The creation back fired and caused so many problems.

    @D'Jra I agree with you !
