How does Victor feel about Elizabeth and why does he feel this way towards her?

17 comments:

  1. Victor Really adores elizabeth as his new sister, and he only wants her to be his . ( a little weird but yeah :) )

He feels this way because probably as an only child , hes happy that he has someone to play with also. And because shes like super cute !

  2. Victor feels like Elizabeth is the sister he never had. Victor, the way I see it, is also very territorial. He wants Elizabeth to himself and only to himself. I think he is like this because he's an only child. Also, because, besides his parents she's the only one he has to play with.

  3. Danielle, I agree with you completely. He does she her as a sister. And, I agree with you, on saying that he is like that because of being an only child. It is really weird that he adores her and sees her like a sister, but still is cute.

  4. Victor feels that Elizabeth was a sibling he never got to play with or grow up with. He says he only wanted her to be his and all his. I don't blame him he was an only child. His parents were practically his playmates. I think Victor just wants her for him self because i guess he just feels a sisterly bond with her. Also shes a Hottie!!

  5. Dannielle & Mica, ahaha i think we all agree Elizabeth is wayy hott!! Victor sounds kind of over obsessive over her. Poor Victor if only he wasn't an only child.

Basically the way Victor feels about Elizabeth is full of love and care to the point where the two are inseperable. True, Victor is the only child and he's lonely majority of the time. Therefore, upon his eyes he looks after Elizabeth, so it's considered his job to do so.

@Mica & Dannielle: True that! She's a cutie pie (: and she has the role of being a great sister.

  7. Victor would always write letters to the sister. I Think when he does that he doesn't feel lonely at all. He misses her because they weren't being raised together. Though they are far apart he would keep in touch with her.

In my perspective, i think that the way Victor feels about Elizabeth is far more than a brother would feel about his sister. He feels this way because of the way he interpreted his mother's words. " I have a pretty present for my Victor- tomorrow he shall have it. " He took it literally and thought of Elizabeth as his and his alone " to protect, love, and cherish. " and i think that Elizabeth feels the same way towards him. Or well i hope she does.

  9. Victor feels very happy with his new "sister". He took it in a literal sense when his mother said that she was his. To him that's exactly what she was. His. He said, and I quote, "mine to protect, love and cherish." That was exactly what he did. He absolutley loved and cherished her.

Victor seems really shocked and happy about his new sister. He describes her like a perfect girl. To me he seems very protected of her.

  12. The way I see it is he's very protective of this sister he never had. He's the only child and he describes Victoria as the perfect girl. He feels this way towards her because he has been lonely and he doesn't have to feel that way because of Victoria.

  13. The way victor feels about elizabeth is like the way luke feels about lea in star wars, and I think the reason he feels that way is(just like everyone's saying it)because he was lonely as a child and I guess he never had a girlfriend thats probably why he felt that way about her.

  14. I think Victor thinks of Elizabeth as the sister he never had. Victor had said,"mine to protect, love, and cherish." That is exactly what he did. He made sure he took good care of her.

  15. @Dannielle, I agree with you. The fact that Victor REALLY adores his sister and wants her all to himself is a little weird(:

  17. (Sorry it's late) To answer the question about Victor feelings for Elizabeth.well Victor loves Elizabeth very much like a little kid with a brand new toy.also Victor believes its his duty to love, cherish, protect, and care for her.now to chapter one, heres whats it talks about.Beaufort, victors fathers friend had passed away and Beaufort had a daughter named Caroline Beaufort.Coraline and victors father married and had a son which you know is victor.victor was loved by his parents very much,he was their most precious gift of all. Caroline helps the homeless, the needy because she was in the same situation when she was younger so she thought helping the homeless was her duty which was a excellent person of her.on her trip she saw a young girl who was adopted by a caring family who looks now in need.the little girl she saw had blonde hair and blue eyes plus you can spot her quite well because she looks different from the other children.Shes very pretty and her name is Elizabeth. caroline bought her home as a gift to victor.victor took her as if she was his own to keep.she was victors familiaries, they also called each other cousins in other words.
